My good friend and fulltime public space pirate Jeroen Jongeleen is part of the Film Festival of Rotterdam's Size Matter programme with his animation "Composition II (Chrome Square)" I really liked his "A Little Movement" animations, but this one is a great next step...

Kees Haring

Documentary on Keith haring, with some nice footage I didn't see before. The arrest part is very funny. As is Grace Jones' bodypaint performance...
Most of it is from 1981/1982, and interesting to see the parallels with today's STREETART or whatever you want to call it. From glueing images on the street to drawing on billboards, from friction with traditional graffiti to watering down images to gimmicky proportions to print it on mugs, t-shirts placemats and bedsheets for the mainstream; full circle once again.

almost fake / hardly real

I simply love it (not only because I used to love monstertrucks as a kid). The pointless waiting for the climax of a big car crushing small cars suddenly becomes the main focus and the car-crushing climax itself is nothing more than a split second. And all of that seems to take place in somebody's attic...or does it?
